I'm looking for a jeep grand Cherokee AC control box, I have started to purchase the one on a site but the unit has a slightly different part number mine is 12201559AE the newer one ends in AC but with same number can you advise please?

All you need to do is Google > 2001 grand chrokee heater control .. Choose the type you have - auto climate control OR manual control - should have very distinct pictures - purchase the one you need .. It's only two types! .. Just make sure the year models match up... eBay will have the largest selection plus money back guarantee!
If only it were that simple? The one I found on eBay all though same design have a different serial number as I said in the question. Thanks for coming back to me though.
Hello, Something you can do to reassure yourself is contact a large, reputable salvage yard who deals in Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge and ask for interchange information. Once you get this info, you will have all of the part numbers that fit your vehicle. You will likely find that several year models share the same part yet some have different part numbers.
Every unit will have a different 'serial number' .. 1999 through 2004 are the same. The manufacturers don't change those parts until it is absolutely necessary! â–ªï¸Good luck to ya!â–ªï¸
