Check engine light and abs light will not work when turning the key or starting the truck. When I hook up car scanner to port it says I need o2 senor but doesn't show the check engine light. What could be the cause of this?

Sorry It didn’t actually tell me what the exact problem was. It gave me the code p0030 when I looked it up it said P0030 is a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for "HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)" which is the O2 sensor I believe but my problem is the check engine light or abs light is not showing on my dash.
Thus is a link to a very handy diagram of the fuse boxes:

Use the link and locate the O2 sensor fuse(s) .. The O2 heater circuit is protected by a fuse - failed fuse is likely your problem.

Highly recommend TESTING ‘ALL’ FUSES using a 12 volt test light - with key on.
