What is your question?
Century 2002 custom. The car cranks and after about 8 seconds kill. Only when it's cold. After getting to the normal temperature it kills sometimes. then whenever I step on the gas pedal, it doesn't accelerate with power, or constantly, it feels like it goes up and down, but never get to the normal point of power, and takes forever to get to 40, it's like it doesn't have power. I checked all the fuses they're good, and I changed throttle position sensor, the one under it, cleaned the throttle, cleaned the MAF, and it doesn't give me codes... People said catalyst converter, but it doesn't get red... And I changed the oxygen sensor on it too... IDK what else to do. Please help... Thanks and God bless

Hello, If you are getting a misfire without trouble codes, I would instantly suspect the engine control module (ECM) of failure, but there is likely more to it. It sounds much like a fuel supply issue, so the first step to take is to check the fuel pressure at the engine to determine if you are getting adequate flow, and check that the pressure is not dropping when you turn the fuel pump off. The catalytic converter can cause the issue as well, and that can be tested by connecting a vacuum gauge to the intake manifold and running the engine speed (vehicle in Park) to about 2000 RPM. If the vacuum drops at 2000 RPM, especially if the engine tries to die out, then the catalytic converter may be the issue. Note, there are several other issues that can cause these conditions, so avoid purchasing parts if you have not a thorough diagnosis. Calling around to get a quote for a diagnostic fee is a good step to preventing wasted funds on replacing good parts as well. Let me know of any more questions by replying here.
