a bad oil pressure switch connector cause engine to slow idle when stopping

also i notice oil seeping through top of switch

I wouldn't suspect that oil pressure sending connector to be able to do anything else but read pressure.. however sounds like you do need a new sending unit.... there cheap at most part stores....
