my selector switch for 4 wheel drive stays lit on auto no matter where selector is placed there are 4 different settings 2 wheel , auto 4x4hi and 4x4lo i changed the encoder on transfer case and also and switch on front diff it did not help i disconnected battery to reset it that did not help what can i do for selector to work properly

might just be a sensor not moving the light to where its sapposed to be if it seems to shift from 4 wheel high/low to 2 wheel but theres could be a number of other issues always best to have a pro diagnose for proper repairs
