2016 Jeep Patriot Dimmer switch or electrical problem?

2016 Jeep Patriot When I turn on the left turn signal the interior lights dim then get bright again. One time, map and dome lights came on very bright then went out. Also, the dimmer switch does not work.

What makes this problem better or worse?
