Hello, anytime your battery light comes on, it's a red flag to call attention to your charging system. This could mean a faulty alternator, wiring concern, or other related charging issue. I would always start looking at base electrical power being constant and at an appropriate level before trying to throw other parts at the car. A drive belt issue, tensioner, idler pulley, alternator concern can all cause loss of electrical power which will result in a stall. Your battery may or may not be a concern as well, but will not be the only problem if it is found to be also bad. Once you have a known good battery and verified functional charging system -- and this can be verified by test equipment while your concerns occur on a road test -- then I would pursue further drivability issues as a possible cause of your problem.
