What is your question?
Floor shift car won't come out of park and check engine light remains on. Car "resets" when battery disconnected then reconnected so it shifts out of park. Performance is perfect. No stuttering, hard or delayed shifting, and no jerking. No power issues. DTCs P0658 & P1DC7. Only issue we have related to those codes is CEL remains on.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It happens at random times and temperatures
How long has your 2012 Dodge Charger had this problem?

Hello, P0658 pertains to the transmission control module sensing an error, and P1DC7 is related to clutch temperature being too high, such as with frequent low speed paddle shifting. There is troubleshooting that should be performed for each concern. I do not see a correlation of these codes with not coming out of park. That warrants investigation also.
