What is your question?
I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla S 1.8L and recently it has been rough idling after i abruptly stop or just stop. It gets to the point where i think its going to turn off. It once had its Throttle Body cleaned and it sort of helped but didn't last long. The car has close to 150,000 miles now. I want to know if it can be the throttle body again or something else. If it is the throttle body, what's causing it to get dirty? Lastly, the car also feels like its not kicking into i overdrive on the highway and it killing my gas mileage.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Driving for long periods
How long has your 2010 Toyota Corolla had this problem?
A few weeks on and off

Throttle body "cleaning" is often not very successful; many throttle bodies have a protective coating that be eliminated by trying to clean it. It is too hard to tell what is wrong without hands on testing, honestly, You could have an engine vacuum leaking causing improper idling. You could have a concern with a sensor such as the mass air flow sensor or oxygen sensors that are sending improper data affecting fuel and air mixtures. Too hard to tell without being able to monitor data and check the physical components.
