What is your question?
The battery indicator light came on. There was no electrical power. The car would not start. I jump started the car to drive it home. As I drove and stopped at stop signs and the RPMs dropped, the electrical system seemed to be on the verge of shutting down. If I kept the RPMs high, the electrical system seemed stable. The battery is 3.5 years old.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Low RPMs

Alternator voltage output test plus complete battery state of charge testing will be required. For the most accurate results - battery should be fully charged - load tested and specific gravity tested with a battery hydrometer .. This will likely need to be performed at local auto repair facility as the parts stores aren’t staffed with qualifying personnel nor possess the required equipment. Good luck! This
Alternator testing can be accurately performed using a volt meter - digital is preferred. Output voltage should be approximately 14 volts - voltage should remain about the same with lights and other accessories operating - - engine @ 1500 rpms.
