Wheel bearing are sometimes hard to pinpoint. I'd guess you may have replaced the wrong wheel bearing or another one is worn.
Hello... most likely it is the transfercase. Same thing happened to me with my 07 CX9. I had to replace the transfer case and the bar that connects to the 4 wheel drive. After that the noise went away. I had the same issue about the noise when speeding up 25mph. Good luck!
I went back this morning to the same shop where I have replaced my wheel bearing and a different technician informed that my transfer case needs to be replaced . He said a humming noise is coming from a bad transfer case . I don't have warrenty and this cost lots of money. I am wondering if the noise I have previously described could be associated with a bad transfer case ? Should I go with a different shop to get second opinion? Please advise.
