I have a 2001 Dodge Durango SLT It will start to make a rumbling sound and then it will make a noise like it has a miss and then it will shut off. It has done that at first only when in park but now it has started doing it while driving leaving me powerless to turn the wheel to get off the road. Then when I start it right back up, it has a strong smell of gasoline. There are no dashboard warning lights on and all the gauges are within range. What am I not seeing? Thanks for any and all help.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It seems to be getting worse the more I drive it. As in happening more often.
