I currently own a 2002 Jeep Liberty with 102,000 miles and have the opportunity to purchase a 2001 BMW 330i @ trade in value. The 330i has 64,000 miles, one owner and has been well maintained. Should I buy the BMW or just keep the Jeep Liberty until it dies? I am just wondering if I have to pay for upkeep anyway, would it be better to pay for the Jeep's upkeep as the parts, etc. will be more cost effective- or is it worth it to pony up the payment for the BMW and potentially have to deal with more expensive repairs?

Personally , I would stick with the Jeep. IMO BMW's and their parts are overpriced and over-rated
Cost for parts and maintenance is valid concern but if your handy, you can do most anything yourself and save dollars with parts from online providers. I've got an '01 330i with 226,000 miles and drive it 100 miles a day to work and back. Looks great, drives strong. I'm obviously a believer! 64K is just barely broken in...
