02 ford explorer xls door ajar light

Door ajar light staying on Checked switches and they seem to be working Only wire I seen was a light blue and black in driver side boot but it was not broke just bare.

See other answer -- you could have a power concern in that door with that affected wire. The door panel has to come off and wiring testing should be completed, repairing affected circuits.
