Purchased this car 6 months ago. Notice loud clunk when pulling into driveway, going over bumps, potholes etc. Took to Volvo shop, mech confirmed sway link needed replaced. Replaced links and had all wheel alignment. 10k miles later still no problem.
Replaced lower control arms, and front ball joints, as well as inner tie rods. Got all the parts from fcpgroton and paid a local mechanic $65/hour to install. 3 hours labor. Car handles wonderful!
