My drivers side wiper will not work. The passengers side does. It does move a little(about 1 inch)

Place the wipers in the park position at the bottom of the windscreen, then check to see that the nut that secures the wiper arm to the wiper spindle is secure and tight. They may come loose sometimes if fouled by an automatic car wash or stick to the windscreen during frost.
