Will a failed driveshaft cuppling effect the rear end

Hello, If the coupler is causing binding or chatter, I would expect that might cause damage over time, but 3 times in 2 years is still nuts. Have the recall completed either way, but without hands on with that vehicle, it is difficult to tell why it is wearing out. Do you drive lots of hills with the van packed full? Do you ever drive it over capacity (weight). Is it primarily stop and go? High speeds with heavy weight?
