Why's it I keep getting a code for my negative sensor even though I changed it

Hi I've a 335xi bmw I keep getting a negative sensor code saying my car is over charging, change negative sensor and adaptor and the code came back. My date and time came off the dashboard. Even change the battery

What makes this problem better or worse?
