My 2000 dodge ram 1500 is having issues starting. When I turn the key over to start I hear a click but engine doesn't even try to fire. After turning over enough times it fires. I bought a new ignition switch thinking that was the problem and replaced it but still having same issue. Any suggestions would be great thanks.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Warm weather. Since winter it worse

First you need to make sure the battery is fully charged. If it is then you may have a starter issue. To rule out ignition issues you can jump the starter to see if it does the same thing.
