Why is my oil light still on?

Oil light is still on lifters ticking and engine running some what rough. New oil pump. Ran it ran fine next morning start it its ticking and oil light is on so i buy new lifters Cuz 8 were soft so decided to get new ones and did head gasket kit. Started it up but lights still on and its ticking cant find anyone that knows anything about it

What makes this problem better or worse?

Since i bout it and had to put new oil pump in shredded timing cover put new pump and cover on
