why does reduce engine power and the traction light comes on at the same time ,

the car runs rough , when the reduce engine power , the traction light and the engine light comes on ,engine light stays on now the speedometer drops to no speed showing it idle rough slow driving runs starts bad !! i notice that i have an air leak close to the calico converter is that causing me the problems or is it censor some kind ,the car has 219000km on the car / 2009 G5 Pontiac.

What makes this problem better or worse?

if i unplug the battery and leave it sitting ,,,
