Q: why does my truck stop running after it get,s warmed up. on 1999 Dodge Ram 1500

1999 dodge ram 1500 v8 5.2 liter engine when it is warmed up and i,am driving it . it just shut,s off and won,t start again until it cool,s down

you might look to see if you have a bad fuel pump or ignition coil. both of those could cause the problem you describe. I used to have a dodge and had the same problem happen to me and had to replace the coil. I also had a ford with the same problem and it was the fuel pump. does it happen all the time or just when you are under a half a tank of gas? If it is all the time I would start at the coil. If it only does it when you have lower fuel levels then start with the fuel pump.
