What is your question?
My Chevy Silverado 1500 will just stop - as if someone turned it off- while driving with no warning. The computer checks out ok and I had the fuel sending unit replaces but it still dies in mid stride. Any ideas as to why this happens? I'm getting tired of being stranded on the road! Help!

Hi Sad Sue, The first thing I would check is your ignition switch. Those ignitions wear out, especially if you have a lot of keys on the key ring. After years of use, in your case, 10 years, that weight and the swinging motion of the keys as you drive will wear out the ignition. I would check that out first. If you have a tilt steering column, you could have a short in the column from wires rubbing or getting pinched when the tilt moves them, that would be suspect #2. Good Luck to you. I have 2002 Silverado and mine runs like a champ.
Thanks for your quick response. I hope it works -- I miss my truck!
