Why didn't the airbags deploy in a 93 mile/hr impact accident on a 2015 Audi S5?

Right front tire was ripped off, would this cause all airbags in a 2015 Audi S5 NOT to deploy? When the car slowed down to 53 miles per hour then all of the airbags deployed.
