Why could my traction control light come on and then when I turn my car off it goes off and then I'll turn back on a couple miles later

Hello, the traction control system will test for system concerns after vehicle restart, but will also "clear" and attempt the test again on the next restart, after driving a bit and having the problem present itself again.
