Where to add transmission fluid?

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. The first questions I have are: why are you looking to add fluid? Have you been able to inspect the fluid level? The reason I ask is - this vehicle requires a diagnostic tool to prepare the transmission for fluid level check - or even adding fluid. Without engaging the tool, you can't do anything accurately. Secondly, a special service tool for Infiniti is used to check the fluid level. If you do not have this, you can't check fluid level accurately either. So I will ask first - why are you trying to add fluid and can you verify it is low?
