where is the blower fan resistor located on my 2014 GL350 Mercedes?

The fan control switches no longer work. The Blower comes on at will full speed at times involuntarily; then it will quit working involuntarily. I know it is not the blower motor, it works fine., It must be the resistor.

What makes this problem better or worse?
