This is a common problem with the 2015-2016 dodge ram, the solution most have found is to turn the pump to the side before pulling it out. The fitment of the fuel filler spout in the body panel has been blamed.

Dose it matter what side you turn it to? Will dodge replace the fuel filler spout or move it for you
