when driving the windshield wiper comes without touching the control

I believe that is controlled by a body control module. These have been notorious for these probs.

Ron, to clarify - there is no body control module that is utilized for the wipers on this particular vehicle. (The Lighting Control Module does get involved in that it turns the headlights on if it sees the wipers on for more than 10 seconds on "auto lamp" models...) I lean towards the switch as to being the cause of failure, but it's too tough to call. Some testing will need to be done, preferably with the problem occurring actively, to see what the problem is.
