what's the correct torque wrench pressure to tighten transmission pan bolts to

The torque on these is very low, probably in the 8-10 ft/lbs. It's better to have an inch pound wrench when dealing with low torque like this. I prefer to look at the cork pan gasket and when it starts to bulge out, stop tightening. This is sufficient torque on these bolts. If it's a paper gasket this technique doesn't work. hope this helps
