I have a 2011 Mini Cooper Clubman (56K) it runs fine until I full throttle it, then it starts to bog down and 1/2 power engine warning light comes on,...when it cools down it runs fine again,...I can gradually accelerate to high speeds but again full throttle has an issue,...HELP

What makes this problem better or worse?
