What is your question?
When I turn the car off it won't start back up automatically the lights start flickering the seats going up and back there are some clicking the windshield wipers do intermittent wiping and then maybe the car might start like its resetting itself
Good morning, I appreciate your response and I got that number from a repair shop along with another code 1000. Let me start from the beginning, the check engine light is on so they used a prod to find out what was going on. 950 was one of the code and the other was 1000. Now that you mention the charging system I actually looked at the battery yesterday and the battery cable was extremely hot. Doses this information help you at all?
Hello, all codes will begin P. So, P1000 is an "incomplete" code, meaning the vehicle has to run through a drive cycle before "passing" or indicating a trouble code. P0950 -- just doesn't exist in generic OBD II or the Jaguar list of trouble codes, that I can find. Thus my question. I continue to think that based on the original description of your concern, there must be a problem with the charging system or battery...or more likely, the cabling. If cables have excessive resistance because of internal corrosion or something like that, it could cause trouble. Heat at the cables could be "normal" or "abnormal" -- too hard to tell from here.
