When driving steady between 20-45mph the rpm bounce. Also a terrible clunking noise from front end. I've replaced several parts according to 'mechanics' problems still there
When I'm going about 35 to 45 mph my Saturn Vue feels like it is surging and trying to go I between gears and the rpm's are going between 1500 and 2500 rpm's does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix the problem thanks

My 2004, 3.5 Liter, V6 does the same thing. (Forty-one years ago I had a 1974 AMC Gremlin that did something similar.) In my Vue, it seems to happen when traffic is moving along at one of those speeds in the range where the transmission normally shifts to the next gear, but the surrounding traffic isn't accelerating, so the car pulses back and forth between the two gears. My husband is retired and I'm unemployed, which makes it impossible for us to get it diagnosed or repaired. GM needs to make an official recall.
transmission or engine pulses and jumps mpgs between the 25-45 as if racing when i shift gears and in gear
Same issue, pulses, or almost stuck between gears when i am driving steady between 40-55 mph. My RPMs bounce when this happens between 1000 and 1500. Accelerating or decelerating seems to make it quit until i hit that steady drive again.
My Saturn pulses while doing between 20-45 mph and the RPM's jump when doing this. What is the problem?
My vehicle makes a funny noise between 35 to 45 Mph. It is like driving over a grid. I took it to a local Chevrolet dealer because it was a recall on this issue. They were not able to fix the problem. The said the problem is the drive shat. The vehicle has a lot highway miles but it is in a perfect condition.
My torque converter on the transmission was replaced by GM. If you're having this problem, get it to a dealer for repair! I spent months with independent repair shops trying to figure out the problem when all along GM was aware of the problem and just not announcing it. I finally got a card in the mail from GM stating they would take care of the problem.
Once the converter was replaced, I had no more problems. Now have over 90,000 miles.
Slow to shift out of gear, terrible shake/shimmy between 40 & 55 MPH. Still intermittent though. In process of having it diagnosed.
The car will drive long distant but in local traffic it jumps when it's only going 30-40miles. was told its' the transmission and that I would have to pay $5,000 for a new one or buy a new car. looking online a see many other owners with the same problems. Took it to GM no help.
tranny changes gears [surges] driving around town instead of downshifting as it did when new.
Ok my 2004 satern veu 4 cylinder 5 speed well it will not get worm and the fan is alway on but I took out the fuse to make fan stop and the it will get worm but when it gets to the first line on temp gauge it starts pulsing and runing like shit like it's hot and over heating. But even when it's not worm I can't drive in 2ed gear at low speed with out it chuging what is the deal
The vehicle jumps and vibrates between 30 and 40 MPH. Told by transmission shop probably the torque converter might be the problem.
