What is your question?
When it starts up it’s seems like the waste gate actuator is working and gives good boost and power, but after a minute or so it stops actuating and gives less power. I replaced the engine except the turbos. Turbos seem to be fine as it gives good boost and power but it stops giving boost. I’m thinking it’s the solenoid and not the actual actuator itself. I don’t believe there’s any boost leaks either.
What makes this problem better or worse?
turbo works on start up but stops after warm up
How long has your 2015 BMW 320i had this problem?

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! It's turbo time! The symptoms you describe—an initial good boost that diminishes after warming up—suggest a problem with either the turbo boost solenoid or its control circuitry. If the solenoid is failing or not receiving proper signals, it can cause inconsistent boost levels. You can perform a diagnostic scan to check for any pending or stored fault codes related to the turbo boost system. You can also check the boost pressure sensor and any wiring related to the solenoid and sensor. This will help pinpoint whether the solenoid or another component needs replacing.
