What is your question?
Had burning smell. No other issues. No backfires, no speed dropping, no noises. Checked oil, dipstick dry, oil leaking under car, oil on trunk of vehicle. Had turbocharger replaced. Now engine light on 5 days after replacement. and this place is saying intake manifold needs to be replaced. Only drove car 2 times in the 5 days. An oil ran almost to nothing. Slight oil present under vehicle, not on floor. Still smell something burning. Is this common? Or did they not do repair right? Should they have checked the intake manifold upon repair? Their description is: Intake manifold return valve causing internal consumption. Needs intake manifold replaced- crankcase pressure forces oil into induction system. (This was run by their diagnostics machine, which needed to be run 2 times). I know most repairs all connecting parts are checked before they just replace 1 area. I'm just worried this place is screwing me over. My vehicle is a chevrolet trax 2016 lt, with 126,000 miles.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Diagnostic tools do not provide a diagnostic outcome. A trained technician does. Sounds like testing has beens sensibly performed, however, check another shop near you for another opinion if you'd feel more confident. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
