The blinking Check Engine Light is key, this means that you have a very severe engine misfire. first thing to check and most likely replace are the Plugs. Wires and Coils. The 100k tune-up is a myth of epic proportions. Also check the back pressure in your CAT Converters. The Fuel Pump MAY be a bad fuel pump harness, which is common on GM trucks, not a failed fuel pump. see this article I wrote on misfires, I do Emissions work in CA and I have to pull my hair out every day working on these types of issues. http://repairpal.com/misfire-what-does-it-mean http://repairpal.com/check-engine-light write back if you need more help
