What is your question?
2004 Ram1500 4.7 liter. 162,865 miles. Died in parking lot while idling. Sputtered for few seconds, then died. Now will only turn engine over. But at a high rate of speed. Seems like the starter got a turbo charger on it. But nothing else. Doesn't even try to start up. I checked the relief valve on the fuel rail, above the motor. There is no fuel pressure. But the fuses and relays all check out. It has always ticked at first start up. Lucas additive quieted it alot. No leaks at all. Oil is changed before scheduled. And all preventive maintenance is kept up ahead of schedule. This is the first time she has not started right back up. Am about to plump fuel directly into therail by hand with a transfer pump while attempting to start it
What makes this problem better or worse?
If i use cheap low grade gas. It idles rough and stalls often. Using premium it runs fine
