Transmission filter replacment @ 50,000miles

when i change the transmission filter how much fluid will i need to replace.if i can't find dexron III approved for H what other fluid can i use

You'll probably need 4 qts. Dexron III(or better) should be available at any parts house or dealer near your home in Wilkes-Barre

Don't mess with changing the filter or fluid it may look a little darker red in color but this is normal unless you are pulling a heavy load all of the time. I had my transmission filter and fluid changed or so called flushed by a qualified tech and 100 miles later I had to replace the transmission talk about an added expense. I talked with a qualified mech and he told me the same thing leave it alone. I no pro but this $200 fix cost me $2500 in the long run.
