What is your question?
After some highway driving, I noticed a loud ticking noise on throttle, coming from the right side of the engine. It sounded like wastegate rattle at first, but is much louder and more pronounced. When I came to a stop, the car had a rough idle and felt like it wanted to stall out. I scanned the car and there are no fault codes.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Car drives fine at higher speeds, bogs down at lower RPM and idle
How long has your 2014 BMW 320i had this problem?

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I’m sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. If your 320i is making a loud ticking noise during turbo spool and experiencing a rough idle, it could be related to a few potential issues. The ticking noise might be due to a loose or damaged component in the turbo system, such as a wastegate actuator or a cracked exhaust manifold. The rough idle could be caused by a vacuum leak, a faulty sensor, or an issue with the fuel delivery system. Since there are no fault codes, it might be a mechanical issue that isn't triggering any red flags yet. I recommend checking for any loose or damaged components around the turbo and intake system. It may be best to have a professional inspect the vehicle to accurately diagnose and address the issue.
