It does not steer as though it has power steering. Have checked fluid and also for any recalls. It does not steer like my Encore. Very hard to turn steering wheel.

Hello, I will never cease to be surprised that manufacturers are still using hydraulic power steering when electronic power steering is so much more reliable. If the fluid is good, and the pump is not groaning as you turn, there are only a couple of options left. The pump could have failed, or the rack and pinion could have failed. Have the power steering pump tested to find if it is making adequate pressure. If it is, the issue is probably the rack and pinion. If it is not, the issue is the pump.
