stalling issues

Mine did the same thing. I would drive a while, then it would die. After sitting for a while it would restart. It didn't kick a code until it got bad enough that it almost wouldn't start without killing the battery. It's almost like someone just turned off the ignition. Changed the crankshaft postion sensor. Fixed the problem.

this is probaby the crankshaft postion sensor. horrible to change, you have to be very careful you don't snap it off or you will have to pull the motor. very expensive to have a garage do it. the part itself is fairly inexpensive.

I have a 02 3500 with 8.1L with the same problem I changed the crank sensor and the cam sensor no fun but it fixed the problem.
