Doesn't work at 20mph or 80 mph and only works when cehicle is turned off and back on
On first start if pullshot will work... until 20 or 80 mph
Worse- car has a hard time "taking it easy" on first shift and the speedometer tries to work during this but doesnt and says at 0.
Happened after I lost right front tire and mechanic shopped worked on it. Worked fine until then.
Obd reader pick up vss speed with a correct speed output.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Better- while going down the road turn car on then off and it works until 20mph or 80mph. On first takeoff after car is started pullshot will get it to work. Worse on first start car goes to 4000 rpm before shifts to second then is fine with other shifts

Hello, sounds like a problem with the vehicle speed sensor or related wiring. This area will affect shifting and speedometer function.
Even if it seem like the output is "correct", it could also be that it works only intermittently.
This is the area to focus on, so check the wiring and wiring connector closely. Are there fluid leaks? I think with close attention you'll find the source of the concern.
