Slow to shift into reverse

What is your question?

My car has 76,000 miles on it. Recently it started to take 2-3 seconds to shift into reverse. Now, it doesn't shift until you start to raise the engine RPM. I think it may be low on fluid. Works fine in Drive. I'm planning on having a fluid/filter change this coming week at Lyle Pearson Mercedes in Boise.
