Service Air Bag message appeared this morning for no apparent reason, no crash or anything. What can I do?

You need to get someone to scan the air bag module for you. The seat belt retractors are part of this system and can go bad from just a hard stop or tugging on the seat belts. Could also be the clock spring, if your steering wheel makes a grinding noise when you turn. Anyway no sense in guessing there are to many componets in the system that can cause this light to come on. Local auto parts store will scan for free but I'm not sure they are able to scan the air bag module. Also be aware that you can get seriously hurt from the air bags, better left to someone that knows what to do.
