On June 9, 2016, Scion recalled 2,520 Scion FR-S. Southeast toyota distributors, llc (set) is recalling certain model year 2016 toyota camry and highlander, 2015-2016 toyota tundra, scion fr-s, and tc vehicles. the load carrying capacity modification label may not reflect the correct added weight of the installed accessories. as a result, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 110, "tire selection and rims for passenger cars."

After installing accessories, the vehicle load carrying capacity may be incorrect on the vehicle certification label. This could result in overloading the vehicle inadvertently, resulting in a crash.

Recall repairs on your Toyota must be performed by a Toyota dealership. Toyota will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in July, 2016. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Toyota dealerships. They will also check for any other uncompleted recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with.

For vehicles modified by the addition of factory available vehicle accessories by Southeast Toyota Distributors, the load carrying capacity label affixed to the vehicle may not show accurate information. This is because the added accessory weight following installation was not accounted for on the existing label. As a result, the vehicle could be accidentally overloaded which could result in a crash.

The ignition key may be able to be removed from the ignition key cylinder when the transmission is not in the "Park" position. This would result in the potential of the vehicle rolling away unexpectedly, risking a crash and injury to occupants.

Southeast Toyota (SET) will being recalling vehicles beginning February 9, 2015. If you notice loose running boards or other accessories on your vehicle, or you don't receive notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer. Dealers will inspect and tighten affected fasteners free of charge. Have your vehicle identification number (VIN) when you call. SET's number for this recall is SET-14B.

Southeast Toyota is recalling certain 2010 - 2013 Toyota & Scion vehicles because the vehicle weight information label is incorrect. This recall applies to Toyotas sold in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North & South Carolina. 

Southeast Toyota will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning May 7, 2013. If you are not notified and feel you should have been, please contact your local dealer. They may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN), so please have it handy when you call.
