The rubber section of an automatic transmission cooler line may develop a fluid leak . In some cases the leaking section of hose can be replaced. In others, the complete cooler line must be replaced to correct this concern.

I have to add at least a pint of transmission fluid a month to keep the dip stick in the cross hatches. But I don't see any sign of a leak in my garage under car. Where is the transmission fluid going. This is a 1995 Cadi Deville 4.9
There was a hole in the transmission cooling line near the metal coupling therefore I had to replace the whole line. Too bad the local auto parts stores ie. Autozone, O'Relly, Napa do not carry replacement part.
