Replaced clutch assembly and module with a used one can it be programmed

Audi is saying it can’t be programmed. Also I found you can buy the module separately. If I buy a new module can I program it to the used clutch pack with module to the new exterior module that needs programmed? Audi is wanting me to buy the the whole clutch assembly with module that comes together. Is there any way around it since I already bought used equipment? Car is driving now but service light is on. They say module is not communicating. Please advise
