For natural gas (CNG) vehicles, the incorrect fuel tank straps were installed on the small fuel tank, which may cause the tank to move. This can cause a fire or an explosion.

You must visit a Ram dealership to perform recall repairs on your Ram truck. The schedule for Chrysler to contact known owners of affected vehicles was during March, 1999. If you did not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ram truck dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
