Armrests Not Sufficient For Accident Protection

Recall Details

The factory supplied armrests that are on the driver's and passenger doors do not comply with crash safety requirements. Dealers will remove these armrests and add a folding armrest to the two front seats free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

The door mounted armrests do not conform to requirements for crash safety, and can cause injury in an accident.
