The cruise control accelerator linkage may bind, preventing the throttle from returning to the closed position once the accelerator pedal is released. This could allow the vehicle to accelerate when not desired, increasing the risk of an accident.

You must contact and visit a Mercedes-Benz dealership to perform recall repairs on your Mercedes-Benz vehicle. The notification of known owners of affected vehicles began during April, 1994.
